Resident Reports Assault Involving Knife
A Lawrenceburg resident reported to authorities Wednesday that a Pulaski woman pulled a knife on her during an assault incident.
The victim, age 28, reported to deputies with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department that she had driven to a business east of Lawrenceburg to speak with her boyfriend.
She said that while they were talking in the parking lot, the woman arrived. She said that she began screaming at her, then pulled a knife, placing her in great fear for her safety.
The victim told deputies that once she saw the knife she drove away. She said that her assailant left the parking lot, headed east toward Pulaski.
The matter currently remains under investigation.
